Noise is not one thing
Analog tape noise, sensor noise, compression blocks, dust, scratches, and flicker behave differently. A single denoise pass can smear faces or remove useful texture. We diagnose the noise type before choosing a repair path.
Temporal cleanup
Many defects change from frame to frame. Temporal methods compare neighboring frames to reduce crawling noise and unstable grain. This is useful for old tapes, low-light recordings, and over-compressed files.
Balancing clean and natural
A completely smooth old video usually looks fake. We aim for cleaner playback while keeping enough texture that the restored master still feels like the original memory.
